Some women’s ovaries run like clockwork but for the rest of us, our bodies do not adhere to that 28-day calendar, especially when travelling! Period Tracker understands we can become distracted exploring amazing places to keep track of ourselves. Therefore, it kindly calculates the average length of your last three cycles so it can more accurately predict the date your flow is going to show up. Not bad at all!

No one wants someone going through their underwear drawer and when it comes to free WiFi, you don’t need someone snooping around your phone and getting into your personal data! Beat cyberattackers to the ground by making sure you have Express VPN installed.
It works by creating a secure connection between you and the Virtual Private Network (VPN) server before connecting to the internet. This means your data will be encrypted and you can surf the interwebs safely. Phew!
I’d say these are really top notch for female travellers and some of them are going to get you out of some pretty sticky situations! What ones have you tried and stuck with? :)
So glad i’ve found this post.
I’ve been looking for an app like Astrill.
This is really helpful!
Thank you!
Great list!
I also love Fripito – app with travel photography guides. Just started subscription model where you can get all the guides for the price of one!
I cannot keep up with all the great apps out there, so I really appreciate posts like this. As a mom, I love the idea of Tourlina. It does sound like a safe way to find travelmates. I already use maps.me and Rome 2 Rio…two of my favorites. Thanks for the app update!
All great ideas, but it’s about freaking time I download Rome 2 Rio. I have heard nothing but fab things about this app, but my phone is never near me at just the right moment to remember to download it. Well today is the day! I’m going to Poland alone next week and haven’t yet bothered to figure out how to get to town and get around, so going to look it up right now!
