It took me a while to travel to China as it’s just SO BIG. I didn’t know where the hell to start. It’s such a vast country with so many different personalities. So, I recommend that with big countries like China, you just start somewhere!
I began teaching English in China in Shanghai to begin with. Shanghai is one hell of a playground. The street art in Shanghai is amazeballs. For a brief time, I did burlesque in Shanghai too.
From there, I did so much hiking in China. I hiked the world’s most dangerous trail in Huashan. I also hiked from Dazhai to Pingan and loved exploring Xingping.
I then went back to China a year later and learnt self defense techniques in Dali. Man…I gotta get back to this country!
